Insight Millennium - Second Generation Subluxation Station
Surface Electromyography
(SEMG) Scan - this scan measures the amount of current in the
muscles along your spine. Vertebral
subluxations disturb the function of the nerve system causing an
abnormal amount of electrical current flowing to your muscles.
The Symmetry scan identifies muscle imbalance caused by an
abnormal amount of electrical current in the muscles on either side of
the spine. The abnormal
muscle pattern on the scan revels an increased amount of tension on one
side compared to the other side. Thermal Scan
- this scan measures temperature differential on one side of the
spine compared to the other. When
there is disturbance to the communication of the nerve system, the blood
vessels are disturbed and it can cause the body’s thermostat to
malfunction producing an imbalanced temperature reading.
The Central Nervous System controls the blood vessels and the
organs and glands, known as the autonomic system.
This thermal scan provides information regarding the autonomic
system. This new tool will look at every nook and cranny
of the nervous system and will give a "snap shot" of the
stress that is being experienced. So
regardless of how good you feel, it can detect any hidden patterns of
accumulated stress in your body. To better serve you, this Insight
Millennium will help us detect nerve disturbance, document and monitor
your progress, and give recommendations to the appropriate chiropractic
care individual for you. Some questions and answers regarding the Insight Millennium: 1. Do the scans cause discomfort? The scans are surface scans performed along each side of your spine. There are no needles or irritation. Some practice members have commented that it feels soothing and relaxing as the instrument glides along the skin. The instrument is receiving important information from your Central Nervous System. It is very safe. 2. Why are theses scans administered? Our intent and purpose for administering these scans is to detect and pinpoint abnormal function in your spine which cannot be seen on X-ray or measured by palpation of your spine. Abnormal spinal function due to vertebral subluxations, causes abnormal nerve system function. The scans are one part of the objective analysis of your spine and nerve interference from vertebral subluxations. 3. Why is it important to monitor the results? We want the best for you as a chiropractic practice member! We can monitor your changes through periodic progress exams. It has been proven that a very slight amount of pressure can disturb the communication of the nerve system regardless of the symptoms that the person is experiencing. A chiropractor can measure the changes of subluxation correction with the advanced technology of the Insight Millennium. It is important to monitor how your spine is correcting and adapting to your corrective adjustments. 4. How will these scans benefit me? For years, a major concern of the public has
been, "Why do I have to keep coming back when I'm pain-free?"
or "How do I know if I'm getting the proper amount of
adjustments?" Now you are able to actually see the changes, and it
will be easier to understand the importance and frequency of
chiropractic care that you are receiving. It is for your benefit. 5. Why
are children scanned? It has also been noticed that patterns of interference can “run in the family”. The scans have value in measuring nerve disturbance in children regardless of their symptoms. Our passion at Dr. Rowena de Jesus Family Chiropractic is to offer family chiropractic care so that children can grow and develop to their best potential. Chiropractic care is a family affair! |
